The case for new media -- and against it

Interesting blog takes a tack that is seldom heard from: the news consumer. Blogger Joel Mathias of philadelphiaweekly.com points out -- accurately -- that the Internet has brought us opportunities to sample far more media than most of us were able to read in the past. At the same time, he says, newspapers aren't making money. So what's the answer? Mathias doesn't really offer one, but he makes the case for both the best and worst of journalism today.
